Multi-Sectoral Assessments

Multi-Sectoral Assessments

Our multi-sectoral assessments provide organisations with the clarity they need to align operations, strategy, impact, and relationships. Through rigorous, context-sensitive diagnostics, we uncover hidden patterns, identify structural challenges, and generate actionable insights that support sustainable growth, accountability, and systemic resilience.

We design and conduct assessments that surface biases and injustices, and examine institutional cultures, and highlight pathways toward diversity, inclusion, and meaningful participation. Our assessments lay the groundwork for structural change. By making visible what is often invisible, we support organisations in taking evidence-informed, justice-driven action across sectors and contexts.

What We Offer:

We provide tailored assessments that blend analytical depth with practical insight, aligned with each organisation’s mission, values, and structure. Spanning organisational, thematic, and systemic domains, our mixed-method approach generates contextual, actionable findings to guide change, inform frameworks, and shift power.

Assessment Types

Strategic Assessments
Evaluate the coherence between organisational missions, vision, strategy, and outcomes, while also exploring how these are experienced across different levels of the organisation. We assess not only structural alignment, but also how strategic direction is shaped by power dynamics, internal politics, and relational trust.
Policy & Governance Assessments
Examine policies, procedures, decision-making structures, and leadership models through the lens of inclusion, intersectionality, safeguarding, and power. These assessments surface how power is distributed and enacted, formally and informally, and how relational dynamics shape transparency, accountability, and trust within governance systems.
MEAL Systems Assessments
Analyse how monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning are practised, and whose knowledge counts in these processes. We pay close attention to how power flows in the collection, interpretation, and use of data, and how relational dynamics enable or constrain critical reflection, feedback, and adaptation.
Safeguarding & Protection Assessments
Assess organisational cultures of care, safety, and responsibility by examining how power circulates through relationships, practices, and institutional norms. We look beyond formal policies to uncover the emotional and political conditions under which harm is enabled, normalised, or silenced, and explore how trust, accountability, and protection are collectively negotiated.
Organisational Preparedness Assessments
Evaluate institutional preparedness as a core operational capacity within organisational infrastructure, encompassing strategic coordination, ethical leadership, and relational resilience. Our assessments examine how roles and responsibilities are distributed across crisis response structures, and how organisations maintain adaptive, inclusive, and accountable decision-making and service delivery in high-risk, rapidly evolving environments.
Accountability Assessments
Assess the accessibility, effectiveness, and responsiveness of institutional accountability systems, with a focus on how individuals and communities raise concerns, receive feedback, and see action taken. We examine both formal mechanisms and informal norms to understand how trust is built or eroded, whose voices are heard or excluded, and how organisational structures either enable or inhibit meaningful participation and responsive action.
ESG Performance Assessments
Assess environmental, social, and governance practices with attention to how ethical values translate into relationships, behaviours, and internal culture. We analyse not only sustainability metrics, but also the emotional and relational dynamics that support, or undermine, meaningful justice-oriented ESG integration.
GRC Assessments
Conduct integrated reviews of governance, risk, and compliance systems to assess how policies are implemented in practice and how organisations identify, manage, and communicate risk. We examine both structural and relational dimensions of risk, including reputational exposure, internal trust, and stakeholder confidence, and analyse how implicit hierarchies, power dynamics, and decision-making cultures affect ethical consistency and institutional resilience.
Power & Localization Assessments
Examine critically how power is structured, exercised, and reproduced across partnerships, funding relationships, and knowledge systems. Even within well-intentioned institutions, these assessments identify gaps between values and practice, surfacing hidden hierarchies, representational imbalances, and structural exclusions that often persist despite commitments to justice or inclusion. Using a decolonial, intersectional, and relational lens, we assess how organisational positioning, geography, language, and funding dynamics shape whose knowledge is centred, whose voices are heard, and how decisions are made.
