📣 Call for Participation
LGBTQ Regional Advocacy Action Plan (RAP) – MENA Region
The Centre for Transnational Development and Collaboration (CTDC) is proud to launch its new Gender and Sexuality Program in the MENA region.
The first initiative under this program — the LGBTQ Regional Advocacy Action Plan (RAP) — aims to strengthen LGBTQ rights advocacy through regional collaboration, capacity building, and strategic planning.
Supported by the Swedish Institute and delivered in partnership with Cecilia Karlstedt Consulting, RAP will unfold over an 18-month period and include:
✅ Two intensive workshops in Turkey to co-develop, implement, and evaluate a shared regional advocacy strategy
✅ Ongoing remote mentorship and consultancy by CTDC for participating activists and organisations
✅ Opportunities to build long-term regional networks and action-oriented partnerships within the MENA LGBTQ movement
🗓 Workshop Dates
• First Workshop: 17–21 November 2016 (Turkey)
• Second Workshop: 16–20 November 2017 (Turkey)
Participants selected for the first workshop will be automatically invited to the second.
