📊 CTDC Survey on the Quality of Life of Non-Normative People from Arabic-Speaking Countries
The Centre for Transnational Development and Collaboration (CTDC) is proud to launch a regional survey focused on the lived experiences of non-normative people in and from Arabic-speaking countries and their diasporas.
🌍 About the Survey
Co-designed by over ten contributors and piloted three times over the past year, this survey was developed in response to a growing need for accurate, evidence-based data on LGBTQI+ lives across the region.
It aims to fill a critical gap in regional knowledge and provide a shared resource for activists, researchers, funders, and community organisations.
“This survey is more than just data collection—it’s a tool to centre lived realities and inform systems that care, include, and protect.” — CTDC Team
🎯 Purpose
• Document the daily realities of people whose gender and/or sexuality do not conform to dominant norms
• Establish a baseline for more inclusive programming and advocacy
• Support the development of policies grounded in community needs
• Amplify voices and turn lived experience into impactful data
🔐 Your Privacy
Participation is completely anonymous and confidential.
No identifying data will be collected, and all responses will be securely stored and ethically used to support the rights and wellbeing of non-normative people.
