🎓 Feminist Studies Mentorship Programme

Launching October 2019 | Now in its Sixth Year
The Centre for Transnational Development and Collaboration (CTDC) is proud to announce the launch of its formal Feminist Studies Mentorship Programme, a continuation of our long-standing commitment to producing intersectional feminist knowledge through academic and grassroots-centred approaches.
“We see mentorship as an act of care—a space for mutual learning, co-creation, and solidarity.”

📘 Programme Overview
CTDC will offer six selected candidates a free, one-year mentorship, with the potential for renewal.
The programme includes:
🧭 Monthly one-on-one supervisory meetings
✍️ Academic writing support and guidance
🤝 Co-authorship and publication opportunities
📢 Support for research dissemination

Mentorship will be led by CTDC co-directors Dr. Nour Abu-Assab and Dr. Nof Nasser-Eddin, based on thematic alignment.

🔍 Key Thematic Areas (2019–2020)
Participants may focus on one or more of the following themes:
• Class, Capitalism, and Neoliberalism
• Decoloniality and Decolonising Methods
• Feminist Methodologies and Knowledge Production
• Political Theory, Governance, and Intersectionality
• Queer Theory, Gender Performances, Masculinities
• Migration, Displacement, and Refugeehood
• Race, Ethnicity, Nationalism, and Transnationalism
• Social Justice (Gender, Sexual, Reproductive)
• Pedagogy, Informal Education, and Activist Mobilising
• Language, Translation, Religion, and Identity Politics

👩🏽‍🎓 Who Should Apply?
We welcome applications from:
• Early-career or junior researchers
• Individuals not affiliated with academic institutions
• People from Arabic-speaking and/or Global South contexts
• Women and non-normative individuals of all backgrounds
